A little about the company– Muscle-building protein is a huge component in all our delicious cookies, brownies, and blondies. Protein makes you feel fuller faster and prevents spikes in blood sugar levels. It’s one way to keep the heart beat steady and the body in balance. Every delectable, guilt-free bite is high in dietary fiber, low in gluten, and delivers up to 5 times more protein than the average baked treat. Our trans-fat free, preservative free, and wheat flour-free recipes are also nutritionally balanced. We combine natural ingredients like heart-healthy rolled oats rolled oats, light brown sugar, and the finest chocolate. We bake small batches from scratch every day.”

Now you know me, I loooooooove my protein and I love me some ingedients I can pronounce, so when I saw that they had cookies, blondies, and brownies chock full of the stuff I just HAD to contact them!

One word pretty much sums up how I feel about these noms—AMAZING.

The peanut butter peanut butter chip cookie was the first thing I dove into. The fact there were visible peanuts immediately made me drool, not to mention the fact that it smelled like heaven. The first ingredient is peanut butter, too! :) This cookie was SUPER rich, dense, and had an amazing peanutty flavor in the midst of a whopping 17g of protein. Definitely not cardboard like most other protein products out there.

I also tried the Wicked Mint Brownie with a tall glass of soymilk+protein powder. It tasted like a slew of Andes chocolates! It was so moist and every time I chewed one of the green chips, I was greeted with a fabulous mint BAM! And the green reminded me of st. patty’s day heehee

I haven’t been able to try all of them yet, but so far my absolute favorite is the trail mix cookie. Walnuts, pumpkin seeds, raisins all played together to create one heck of a tastebud bonanza. This GIANT cookie has 13g of protein too! Lovvvveeeeeddd ittttt :D

sorry for the greasy, windswept hairdo

My parents even got in on some of the protein action–

My mom opted for the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and as you can see from her face, she was struck speechless by the flavor. Shortly after the picture, she went ballistic haha

My dad tried some of the chocolate chip blondie, but while chewing, wasn’t in the mood to be photogenic…He LOVED it though! He said it was moist, rich, and loved the fact it had 11 grams of protein powered up in it. :)

Thanks so much for letting me do a review, Protein Bakery crew! :)

I can’t wait to finish sampling the rest of them :D
