Did Someone Say...Nut Butter?!

Last Thursday, they kindly sent me one of the most INCREDIBLE boxes of goodies to review.

Previously, I had only tried the cashew and a bit of the pecan, so I was pretty much an Artisana virgin and stoked to get started. I even shared some with my parents so they could experience the joy.

I have to say, I literally died upon receiving this package.

Of course, I had to incorporate nut butter in every snack and meal possible…not like that was a bad thing!

Here’s my rankings of each flavor:

Enough of the stats, let’s dive in to some eats!

First, I tried some of the cacao bliss and coconut butter blended up with some spinach and chocolate protein powder in a smoothie. While it may be a disgusting color, it tasted like a tropical paradise! The coconut was SO rich and fresh and the cacao bliss made it almost like an almond joy candy bar in smoothie form

Then, I started to put random sampling globs with some of my meals–

Cashew butter on london broil steak and eggs stir fry anyone?

hey now don't judge, it tasted like heaven

What about some almond butter AND the entire pack of macadamia nut butter for dipping apples and dates in?  (sorry the dates got kinda cut out of the picture, my dad put his hand in front of the camera so i had to crop him out haha) I do have to say the almond was a bit blan– I guess I like salty almond butter better, but the macadamia tasted like a million dollars. Both were out of this world fresh!

Then I had to pair them with some pre-bedtime cottage cheese concoctions

cottage cheese, chocolate pb casein, and cashew butter blobs

cottage cheese, vanilla whey, cashew butter, pecan butter, and some coconut oil mixed in

Good thing nut butter isn’t a man because I sure couldn’t be faithful to just one haha

And finally, the tried and true favorite way of noshing on nut butters…straight outta the package!

I still haven’t tried the walnut yet, but my dad loves it and he’s not a nut butter fan at all. I’m really excited to try it in a baked sweet potato!
