Goodbye 19, hello 20! Mum’s the Word Monday

Thank you all SO SO SO SO SO much for all the happy birthdays!!!

Saturday (pre-birthday fun)

i came home to this!

went swimming as a family at the local indoor pool

drove 40ish minutes to dallas to hit up my favorite whole foods for lunch!

Sunday–the actual day!

My parents surprised me with a hot air balloon ride!! My dad came along for the ride with me since my mom was scared haha We got so lucky–some people in our group had been waiting months for a nice day to ride. It was 28 degrees, no wind and perfect flying conditions! Really cold, but REALLY fun!!! I even get to check it off my bucket list!

airing up!

gettin ready to fly!

it was so clear and beautiful!

my dad and i before take off

After a hilarious and bumpy landing, we headed back home and my parents gave me some presents! I almost cried at the card they gave me, I love my family so much :)

sweet. potato. butter. THANK YOU FATHER!!!!!!!

a new watch from target from my mom!

a new sketchbook, fish themed bowls, and a hungry girl recipe book from my parents and grandma

It was the best birthday I could’ve asked for! I can’t wait to see what the future holds! :)

Have a fabulous week friends!!! :D

  4. Gotta say it again: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I’m slightly scared of hot air balloon rides because my Dad went in one and it malfunctioned – sent them on a roller coaster ride instead of a hot air balloon ride to say the least – but I know that’s not normal so it’s good to see a success!!
OMG SWEET POTATO BUTTER. I want that with peanut butter NOW!

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
That’s sooo cool that you went on a hot air balloon ride. I’ve always wanted to do that.

  7. Wow girl, the hot air balloon ride sounds like SO much fun. I almost had the chance to ride in a hot air balloon when we visited Albuquerque, but it cost an insane amount of dough, so we opted out.
That sweet potato butter looks amazing! It seems like nowadays butter can be made out of anything, :P

  8. Happy birthday again! Glad you had such a good time. How lovely of your mum and dad to get you the balloon ride (love the pictures) and I like your bucket list… I’ve been to Anne Frank’s house but not done any of the others… I think I might have to write one!
