I found this little fortune today in my wallet, I remember getting it a loooonnngg time ago and thinking hrmmm…I wonder if these ever come true…Well, it seems as if this one has. Ever since I started lifting and learning about real nutrition, my parents have started eating healthier, too! My dad lowered his blood pressure and lost 25 pounds and my mom lost 15 pounds and starting some light lifting. I’m so proud of them and I feel like our family has become closer than ever Warm, fuzzy feeling? I think YES.
Breakfast today was phenomenal! I’ve been so inspired by other bloggers’ breakfasts and recipes, so I just had to try a new concoction. Today: Greek Yogurt+Vanilla Myofusion+Original Kashi Go Lean Cereal and a Golden Delicious Apple. It held me so well, and it was DEEEEElish.
Needless to say, I was a happy camper. Even better news, the dogs at work didn’t make messes in their cages! You can’t imagine the relief I felt walking into work hearing my boss saying “We can take our time today, it looks like the dogs were extra good last night.” *happy dance* AND on top of that, my mom informed me, we’re going to Whole Foods TOMORROW instead of Thursday! Woop woop! I’m so stoked. I really want to load up on some peanut butter, and I’m gonna pick up some chia seeds to test out in my oatmeal (add a little more volume and calories). I’ll definitely be postin pics from the haul
My light walking and ab work today went well, looking forward to leg day tomorrow. I absolutley LOVE working on squats and leg curls! Hamstrings, besides delts, are my favorite body part to work out.
